The micro brewery is starting out small, but the first its craft beers are expected to be bottled and rolled out by Christmas.
Co-owner Greg Headley said bottling beer for sale was always the goal at Two Heads.
“The plan was always to get into packaged distribution, but we thought it would be a few months later or after one year,” he said.
In an effort to fund Two Heads’ expansion into bottling, the brewery is pre-selling its first batch.
People can visit the official website to pre-order the special packs, which include a selection of 12 beers from the Two Heads range.
Two Heads currently has five different beers, Paleface Pale Ale, Jimmy Mac Golden Ale, The Miller’s Porter, "India Papa Alpha" IPA and Conrod Straight and Narrow Session Ale, and will soon introduce a lager.
Also included in the pack is a limited edition Two Heads "Lightning" Bottle Opener and a Two Heads "Lightning" trucker cap.
Each pack costs $99, with all the profits being used to support the bottling process, and they are expected to arrive for people in time for Christmas.
“Moving forward it will be our most popular beers based on demand [that are bottled],” Mr Headley said.
“Our most popular is our pale ale, closely followed by our golden ale, but I think our lager will soon be as popular.”
Mr Headley said the plan is to have Two Heads beers distributed locally in places that don’t offer beer on tap, such as restaurants, as well as making them available at the brewery itself.
Bottling beer for distribution is another sign of the success of Two Heads, which only recently received its first nominations and win at the 2016 Crowe Horwath Carillon Business Awards.
The brewery won the Best New Business category and Mr Headley was also named a finalist in the Young Entrepreneur category.
He said the recognition reaffirmed “what we hoped and planned” for Two Heads.
