Her Duramana property, ‘Bondura’, features two acres of gardens that Ms Bonham has planted and tended to over the past 60 years.
Members of the public were invited to view her expansive gardens and the restored Gresser Cottage on Saturday and Sunday.
Ms Bonham charged $5 per person, with all the money going to support Hayley Porter as she recovers from a horse riding accident.
“Hayley was here [on Saturday] with her mother and her brother and her brother had a great time running around,” Ms Bonham said.
‘Bondura’ features Ms Bonham’s favoured “Bush Garden”, where almost every plant is native to Australia, as well as a herb garden designed to look like a stained glass window in the summer.
There is also a special kid’s garden, which adults can only enter if invited by a child.
Ms Bonham said everyone who visited over the weekend had been lovely and generous.
