BATHURST rugby union talent Rory Suttor made his debut in national colours one to remember last week as he and his Australian Schoolboys defeated Samoan Schools 50-10 in Samoa.

A talented second-rower who is currently a Year 12 student at The Shore School in Sydney, Suttor gained selection in the Australian Schoolboys outfit after impressing for the NSW Seconds at the national titles.
He was named on the bench for the first game of the tour, which marked the first time since 2001 that the Australia Schoolboys had met their Samoan equivalents.
Playing at Apia Rugby Stadium in Samoa, Australia scored the first 10 points of the match and by half-time had built a 31-10 lead.
From there the visitors went on with the job, running in seven tries for the the match to post a dominant victory.
Suttor’s next match will be on Thursday against Fijian Schools at New Zealand’s Sacred Heart College.
