It’s the Shetland Pony Society of Australia Inc Super Show, which will be at Bathurst Showground in late October, and ponies are expected to arrive from as far away as Western Australia.
“The show is for Shetland ponies only,” Shetland Pony Society of Australia president Ray Faulds said.
“The ponies are all registered with the Australian Pony Stud Book Society. The Shetland society has been established for over 40 years.
“The Shetlands will be shown in led, saddle and harness classes.”
Judges for the show will be Tony Bell from Ireland, Diane Chesmar from Christchurch, New Zealand and Chris Smith from Blackheath.
The show will be held on October 29 and 30.
