Ray White Emms Mooney, which is in Russell Street, hopes to be in the new location, in William Street, opposite the Cathedral of St Michael and St John, by mid to late November.
And the new building will come with something special: a dedicated auction room that has the capability to stream all auctions online so potential buyers can participate without having to be physically present in Bathurst.
According to director Pat Bird, the auction room with live stream technology will be the only one of its kind for Ray White outside Brisbane and Sydney.
“It will be a major advantage to vendors – they can expose their properties to the world,” he said.
Mr Bird said Inland Building and Construction owner Dave Pennells and property developer the late Bruce Bolam approached Ray White Emms Mooney about making the move to the William Street location.
He said the upgrade is needed for the company because the business is expanding.
“The beauty of this site is for our clients, we are going to have the capacity to park over 20 cars, which has been really difficult around the CBD,” he said.
“There will be great exposure, and it will also be easier for buyers and clients to find us.”
A mortgage broker will also be working out of the office through the Loan Market.
Mr Bird said the move was an investment in the Bathurst economy.
“This is a long-term move. We are aiming to be here for years and years.”
It’s been a busy time for Ray White Emms Mooney, which recently won some big awards at the Ray White annual awards on the Gold Coast.
For the third year running, Ray White Emms Mooney was named the number one rural and residential office and the number one livestock office for Ray White nationally.
“That shows how strong the regional market is here at the moment,” Mr Bird said.
Ray White Emms Mooney has offices throughout the Central Tablelands.
