Unlike their one-run defeat in the semi-final, Centennials will instead focus on emulating their 2015-16 regular season results against the Bulldogs where they claimed two victories.
“We’re really looking forward to getting back out there. A few weeks ago with all the rain we couldn’t be sure whether we’d be on but it’s looking great now,” Bulls captain Josh Toole said.
“Ricky Daymond has moved away for uni reason but he will be back next year. Troy Kenny has also moved back to Mudgee for work but Troy Oxley will be back for us again this season.
“Rugby Union will be tough game to start. We usually have close games with them. With the Qureshis [Jameel and Imran] there I think they’ll continue to improve.”
