The Rams finished 2016 with a 26-16 win over the Federation Of Italia Rugby League Australia under 21s.
Introduced as part of the Western Rams representative program this year, coach Kurt Hancock was happy with the way his under 21s players developed.
“I am really pleased, the boys have been working really hard and for them to get a reward is great, especially after playing St George Illawarra and Cabramatta early in the year and we got pretty pumped in the scoreline,” he said.
“They have stayed tight, they are a good bunch of blokes. I think we are going to keep the concept, a lot of these guys are now playing first grade.
“That’s the aim for this squad, a bit of progression for the guys. These guys are the future of Western Division.”
