Saturday, October 22: Cancer council's ladies night in. Elephant and Castle 35 Keppel Street 6pm-11pm. Get the girls together for a fun-filled evening, while helping to raise vital funds to support those affected by breast and gynaelogical cancers. Tickets at the door for $30 which includes: 2 hours of complimentary champagne, canapés, live entertainment, charity auctions and raffles. Macquarie Care Centre Auxiliary Melbourne Cup Luncheon will be held at the Holy Trinity Hall, Kelso on Tuesday, November 1 at noon. Call Joyce, 6331 1893.

Bathurst PCYC High Tea event at Abercrombie House will be held on Sunday, November 6 at 2.30pm. Circus students will be “busking” around the house, and there will be self-guided tours of the property and gardens prior to a traditional high tea event. It is a $45 per head ticketed event and all profits will go towards purchasing new equipment for activities at the club. Call the PCYC, 6331 2191.
