The Panorama Motorcycle Club (Vintage and Veteran Group) has hosted the Geoff Martin Memorial Rally in Bathurst for the past 18 years.
Mr Martin was an active club member who lost his life in a tanker accident at Abercrombie 19 years ago.
This year the event, which is open to bikes (and riders) of any vintage, will take the form of a one-day run to the south of Bathurst.
Entries will be accepted on the day of the run, with an entry fee of $40.
The start will be at the Bathurst Showground at 9am and breakfast will be included.
There will be a choice of short and long runs to Burraga for a sit-down lunch. Cross-country route options are also available.
On returning to Bathurst, entrants are invited to the Dudley Hotel to watch the MotoGP at Phillip Island.
Funds from the run will be donated to the Bathurst Hospital to assist with the purchase of an ECG machine for the Intensive Care Unit.
This money will be in addition to the $5000 raised by the Panorama Motorcycle Club at the Jake Carroll Remembrance Day motocross meeting held in August.
To assist in this regard, 2BS Gold/B-Rock FM, in association with the Mercure Hotel Penrith, has donated a prize for a fundraising raffle.
