Police have confirmed a 54-year-old man was driving the vehicle that left the road and hit a tree around 1.30am.
He was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
Investigations are continuing.
EARLIER: A DRIVER has been taken to hospital following a single vehicle crash at Turondale.
Police Media said the crash occurred about 1.30am on Saturday and the driver was believed to be the only occupant of the vehicle.
The 4WD utility left the road and hit a tree before rolling onto its side.
The crash occurred a notorious stretch of country road north of Bathurst.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and said it was too early to determine the cause.
