After a heavy eight-wicket defeat on October 15 against Redbacks, Pat’s captain Brendon Cutmore was hoping Saturday’s Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade game would be a chance for his team to show a “shift in attitude”, after being bowled out for just 86 off 25.5 overs.
“It is frustrating with the weather, but that’s cricket sometimes,” Cutmore said.

“We were keen to get out and get some experience against a good team.
“It is not too bad to get a draw against Rugby, but it does not help improve from our last game.
“We would have preferred to play cricket and we had the hunger to prove a point after losing like that [against Bathurst City].
“Our team has the most to prove and the most ground to make up. It is a fairly even competition and anyone can beat anyone on their day.”
Pat’s will play ORC on October 29 at Morse Park 1, with the Tigers coming off a six-wicket loss to City Colts in round one.
ORC’s 206 off 35.5 overs was chased down by Colts, who scored 4/207 off 28.
