LEAP is where you catch free performances of beautiful tunes from talented young performers in local coffee shops and restaurants:
- Thursday: Tristan & Finn, Emily Geerkins, Chloe Swannell and Gabbi Bolt at Tommy’s, 5.30pm-9pm.
- Friday: Georgia Sonter and Tameka Kennedy are at The Hub, 2pm-3pm.
- Saturday: The Mad Season Café hosts Gabrielle Whitwell, Zoe Bunyan and Madi Pincott, 10am-2pm.

Meanwhile, some of the brightest from the Sydney Conservatorium are in town this week too for the Early Music Ensemble Music Regional Tour.
They’ll perform selected works by Handel, Vivialdi, Geminiani and Bach, including some newly discovered works for recorder consort by Portuguese Baroque composer Pedro de Arau'jo this Saturday, 1pm to 2pm at St Michael & St John Cathedral.
Tickets $10 / $5 concession at the door.
Hats and paints
THE next Evans Arts Council workshops include Making a Fascinator for the Melbourne Cup with Wendy-Lou Tisdell and Jenni Ford this Saturday, followed by Watercolour Painting next Saturday, November 5.

Peel Jam Art
THE annual Peel Jam Festival (Saturday, November 12) will this year feature an art exhibition of hung works, sculpture and ceramics.
