The answer is easy, tune in each Tuesday afternoon at 3.30 to Cinemascape on 2MCE.
A panel of movie buffs review all the latest films each week and give a rundown of the movie, actors, plot and general watchability as well as background pieces on the film makers, the actors, special effects and so forth.
It’s not always the mainstream commercial released movies but also art house and independent releases reviewed and given assessment by a team of experienced movie critics and guests.
It’s a great opportunity to learn about latest release films and some of the more obscure releases.
Annual meeting
IF you are a 2MCE subscriber you should be receiving notification in the mail about the 2MCE annual general meeting coming up next month.
Tuesday, November 29 is the date and the venue is at the 2MCE studios for the 6pm meeting which will also see the election of two new subscriber representatives to sit on the CSU community broadcasting board for the next two years.
The board is made up of representatives appointed by the station’s licence holder CSU and four representatives from 2MCE subscribers.
Two of those subscriber positions come up for election each year and this year Ron Gibson and Margaret Hargans finish their two-year terms and those two positions become vacant. Both have indicated they will be re-standing for the board.
If you are a current financial subscriber and wish to nominate for one of the vacant spots on the board you can do so by lodging a nomination form no later than November 14.
Nomination forms from the 2MCE office during business hours.
