BATHURST golfer Casey Thompson, 13, is off for an experience to savour in Sydney after qualifying for the Genesis Golf Link Cup Final.

Thanks to her consistent performances over the 12-week qualifying period Thompson will be making the trip next month to the NSW Golf Club for the final.
Not only that, Thompson will also enjoy a cruise around Sydney Harbour and VIP treatment at the Australian Open, being held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club.
Thompson joins just 15 other players from around the country for the final.
“I was very, very excited when I found out,” Thompson said.
“I got encouraged by the Bathurst ladies to have a go at the competition. At first I thought it was just to lower my handicap but now I’m going off to this.”
Thompson will take part in the Genesis Golf Link Cup Final on Friday November 12 before enjoying her cruise, presentation dinner and Genesis marquee Australian Open experience over the following two days.
