Bathurst Red Cross branch and Red Cross store will hold their Big Cake Bake at 78 George Street from 10am-2pm to continue their great work. By enjoying a cake and cuppa on this day, you will be helping to raise money to help Red Cross continue its vital everyday work in Australia and overseas, supporting young parents struggling to provide regular meals for their families, remote communities recovering from disaster and elderly Australians who are isolated and alone.

Bishop Michael McKenna will preside at mass in the cathedral from 9am. In the afternoon, the Sisters of Mercy warmly invite everyone to attend a garden party to be held at St Joseph’s Mount, Busby Street from 2pm-5pm to celebrate 150 years of the Sisters of Mercy.
