The blustery conditions tested competitors, with a number of capsizes and gear breakage.
Division 1 for smaller catamarans and monohulls was dominated by Bathurst’s Rob Tikoft sailing a Lightweight Sharpie dinghy with crew Mike Corkin. Roy Finch from Carcoar came second sailing his Maricat catamaran, with Adam Bastow from Oberon coming third, also sailing a Maricat.
There was a tight tussle amongst the Nacra 5.8 catamarans in Division 2, with Martin Horder and crew Isabella Fawcett from Bathurst taking out first place.
A consistent performance saw Sebastian Knowles and Kaya Zmijewski take second. Third place went to Dave Cullip and Mark Phillips from Newcastle.
