The Tigers batted first and scored 7-225 of 40 overs with Colts failing to get close with 166 off 37.5.
Tigers captain Trent Fitzpatrick said he was “pretty wrapped” with his team’s victory, which featured 130 run partnership between Wayne Sellers (82) and Jeremy Judge (46).
“I was happy with the grand total and the partnership was crucial to our success,” Fitzpatrick said.
“We were lucky because they [Colts] were under-strength, missing Dan Casey.
“Dan would’ve have helped them out and they missed him in the field because he just talks all game.”
Angus Daymond picked up two wickets in the final over, who had a strong day bowling.
Fitzpatrick was full of praise for the batsmen Clinton Bryant and Evan Jones as their partnership helped the Tigers on to victory.
The second win of the season for ORC keeps the Tigers in the mix for the play-off positions come March 2017.
Next up for the Tigers is a tough trip to face undefeated Bathurst City at the Bathurst Sportsground.
It will be the first time the Tigers have faced the Redbacks, as the previous encounter was deemed a wash-out.
The Redbacks remain undefeated over six rounds of cricket and Fitzpatrick remains mindful of the team, knowing his team will have to bowl tight.
