Benjamin Thomas Fulton, 28 of Webb Street Bathurst appeared before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court on Monday, November 14.
Police facts tendered to the court old how on August 19 this year, police were in the central business district conducting high visibility policing when they saw a Red Holden Commodore travelling in Bentinck Street before turning into Keppel Street.
The driver was pulled over by police, for a random breath test.
They asked Fulton for his licence, and he was unable to produce it. They asked for his name, and identified him as Benjamin Fulton.
The roadside breath test produced a negative result, but a check on the police mobile data terminal revealed Fulton’s licence was endorsed disqualified, from March 6, 2015 until September 8, 2018.
Mr Allen convicted Fulton, placing him on a Section 9 Bond for 12 months, and disqualifying him from driving for a further 12 months. he also quashed his habitual offenders declaration.
