The annual two-day event held in Sydney showcases the talents of the state’s public school students, and it all kicks-off on Friday.
Lily Cole, 13, and McKenzie Barwick, 17, will dance in the State Dance Ensemble, while Aidan McBurney, 16, will play trombone in the band.
“They’re dancing with the elite dancers,” school principal Geoff Hastings of Lily and McKenzie. “Aidan is an elite trombone player.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity and a huge commitment for each school that takes part.”
Students from Kelso High and Eglinton and Bathurst public schools will also perform during the event.
