The action-packed, not-to-be-missed program hosted by the Portland District Motor Sports Club features five tin-top sedan classes, and four fabulous open-wheeler classes.
Topping the bill is the opening round of the Newcastle Street Stock series with a great line up of cars, fighting their way to the finish line across three exciting heats and one heart-stopping feature race.
There’ll be close-racing speedway karts, modlites, quarter midgets and a top line-up of microsprints.
The stock car stars will be contesting the opening round of their Portland club championship with three heats and a feature race.
The jam-packed meet also includes the unbelievably close-racing ten-car field of RSA Street Stockers, Series Production, Four Cylinders and Second Drivers plus the new ‘all stars’ (14-16 years) and ‘new stars’ (10-13 years) Junior class.
All will be racing hard for their yearly point score.
Driving stars from across the state will be there, ready and rearing to start their engines. They’re coming from Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Mudgee, Bathurst, Orange, Canberra, Blayney, Oberon, Dubbo, Gilgandra and Nowra, and all are there for just one reason – to battle it out wheel-to-wheel on the oval track. You won't want to miss a second.
Get your backside trackside for almost six hours of speedway excitement with more than 50 events for the tin-top stock cars and the very fast open-wheelers.
Come on out and cheer your favorite driver to the chequered flag.
Sponsors proudly supporting the Cullen Bullen Raceway include Sita Environmental Solutions, McFadden Ice Supplies of Bathurst, Phil & Marg Downey's Portland Newsagency, the Royal Hotel Cullen Bullen, Stone’s Pest & Weed Control, Coates Hire Wallerawang, Portland Automotive Services, Centennial Coal, Lithgow City Council, Tony Scott Plant Hire, Orange Car Carriers, Portland RSL Sports & Recreation Club and JR Conveyors.
