Rose, himself a handy footballer who played for Oberon this season, has arranged for some of league’s well know figures to square off in the ring at the Hordern Pavilion.
Cronulla captain Paul Gallen will take on Canberra’s Junior Paulo, while Todd Carney meets Chris Sandow.
Then there is Parramatta’s Peni Terepo.
Rather than fighting a fellow NRL player, the Tongan representative asked Rose for a more experienced opponent.
Rose provided as Terepo will meet Randall Rayment, who has already had six professional boxing bouts.
"I want someone who can actually going to test me out," he said. "It's good to fight footy players as well, but this is a real test for me to come up against an excellent fighter. I feel I've experienced enough at training and growing up. But I've still got a lot of work to do."
