Walsh and Ferris won with a scratch score of 83.
Finishing second was Bill Casey and Deidre McCarthy, with a score of 86.
Walsh said he was pleased with the effort from Ferris.
“She played solid all day and we combined well,” Walsh said.
“I thought I messed it up, when the ball went over the fence on the 15th hole.”
Walsh described the course as being in the best condition it could be.
Winning the trophy and getting your name on the board is a huge honour for Walsh.
“Some play all their lives and don’t get their name on the board,” he said.
“There was a few pairs away and that made it easier for us, but you’ve still got to play good golf to win.”
