Bathurst under 14s earn a place in the Mitchell Cricket Council semi-finals

BATHURST ensured itself a place in the Mitchell Cricket Council under 14s semi-finals with a five-wicket win over Lithgow on Sunday.

Bathurst went into the match undefeated after three rounds and as a strong bowling performance set up win number four at Tony Luchetti Number 3 Oval, the 14s assured themselves of a top-two finish after the round games.

Lithgow won the toss and batted first, but the Bathurst attack soon took control. Seven different players claimed wickets as the hosts were all out for 90 in the space of 46 overs.

Tom Siede was the most successful as he took 3-6 off four overs, while Justin Stephenson was the other multiple wicket taker as he claimed 2-10 off his six overs.

GOOD DAY OUT: Charlie Harris took 1-2 against Lithgow.
