Bathurst went into the match undefeated after three rounds and as a strong bowling performance set up win number four at Tony Luchetti Number 3 Oval, the 14s assured themselves of a top-two finish after the round games.
Lithgow won the toss and batted first, but the Bathurst attack soon took control. Seven different players claimed wickets as the hosts were all out for 90 in the space of 46 overs.
Tom Siede was the most successful as he took 3-6 off four overs, while Justin Stephenson was the other multiple wicket taker as he claimed 2-10 off his six overs.
Lithgow tried hard to defend its total, but an unbeaten 21 from number five Declan Fawkner ensured Bathurst got the job done within 35 overs.
Bathurst’s final round match will be against Orange Gold in February.
