His presence will come as a massive boost for his currently fifth placed Centennials Bulls, especially given the side is set to take on the undefeated Bathurst City at the Sportsground on Saturday.
While the aggressive batsman has not played a lot of Bathurst District Cricket Association first grade cricket in season 2016-17, when Toole has padded up he has shown why he is regarded as one of Bathurst’s best.
The Bulls’ captain has hit 92, 93 and 179 for an average of 121.3.
It is an average which will be tested by the imposing Bathurst City bowling line up for the first time this season given Toole missed the round three clash between the pair.
Bathurst City won that match by nine wickets.
While Toole has been in hot form with the bat, one member of the Bulls’ line-up who is simply happy to be playing is Lisa Griffith.
The club welcomed her back this season after a five-year absence and over the last three rounds she has claimed seven wickets at an average of 11.
“Some of those wickets have been pretty lucky,” she laughed.
“I think probably being away and because I haven’t been around the game, some of them men don’t know who you are and haven’t seen you bowl.
“I am just lucky that I play for a great team in Centennials Bulls, they are a great bunch of guys to play with.”
