Media teacher Simon Fraser has teamed up with Metro Cinemas to arrange this special premiere event to showcase his media students’ work.
"Our students have been working very hard over the year to create some outstanding work and Metro Cinemas have been very supportive in allowing them to shine on the silver screen," he said.
The films range in genre from comedy, action and sci-fi to documentary, commercials and many more.
Screen and media student Arwa Merchant says it’s a great chance for the students to present their skills and talents to the community.
"Seeing our films on the big screen is an awesome experience. We have been looking forward to this all year and we hope everyone can come along and support us," Arwa said.
The Bathurst TAFE media courses cover a range of production skills including film-making, camera, editing, photography, writing, animation and the latest Adobe programs.
“Our screening is not only a great night of entertainment, but it is also a chance for potential students to see what they could learn at TAFE in Bathurst.” Mr Fraser said.
Anyone interested in enrolling in TAFE media courses can call or visit the Bathurst TAFE campus on 6338 2424.
The TAFE Western screen and media student film screening will be held this Wednesday, December 7 at 6.25pm at Metro Cinemas. Admission is free.
