Four members of the The Lagoon family drove winners at the meeting – Steve Turnbull and his children Nathan, Amanda and Mitch.
Between them they won six of the seven races conducted, while Steve, Amanda and Nathan Turnbull all enjoyed success as trainers.
Nathan drove two members of his own team to success – Its A Shakedown ($3) and Sams Express ($2.10) both saluting as favourites.
Amanda trained and drove the winner of race six – Greenngold ($1.20 favourite) – after earlier steering Written In Red ($1.80 favourite) to victory for her father.
Mitch’s winner Montana Shadow ($4.60) was also a member of his father’s Radiant Lodge team, while Steve was in the gig behind race one winner Ponte Milvio ($2.50). The family also had a second and two thirds.
