The talented Bathurst Cycling Club junior was at the Adelaide Super-Drome on Wednesday and Thursday for the final round of the series, Puzicha a member of the Western Region Academy of Sport squad.
The WRAS cyclists were among those who got to meet Meares, a multiple world, Olympic and Commonwealth champion.
Puzicha again proved herself to be one of the best emerging cycling talents in the Central West as she impressed in Adelaide.
She won the junior women’s under 15 six-lap keirin final on Thursday and earned another podium when third in the 18-lap points race.
Puzicha narrowly missed a top-three finish in the 19-rider elimination races held each day in her age group as well.
On top of that, on Thursday Puzicha stepped up to contest the junior women’s under 17s points race and placed fourth.
