Broes (32) opened the batting for Western alongside Brock Larance (19) and the pair got their side off to a strong start.
Tom Nelson (59) and Corey McDean (58) top scored, and put on a 94-run partnership.
After Mitchell (16) and the remaining Western batsmen had contributed to the run tally the team finished with a handy haul of 253 runs from their 50 overs.
Northern Coastal never got going with the bat as strong bowling from Western prevented any major partnerships from developing.
The side were rolled for 124 with Henry Railz the leading wicket taker at 4-22.
Western have two more games before Thursday’s finals.
