The sessions have been sponsored by Bathurst Regional Council to support arts in the local community.
The first workshop, on February 11, will be a female convict bonnet-making workshop for the Bathurst Family History Group.
It will be followed by a polymer clay workshop led by Carol Dobson (February 25); felting with Carol Dobson (April 8); a matching gift bag and card workshop for Mother’s Day, led by Wendy-lou Tisdell (May 6); and silk painting with Buelah Sanson (May 27).
Art classes led by a range of different tutors will also run on the third Monday of the month from February 20.
All workshops will be run in the former Evans Shire Council Chambers and bookings are essential ($10 booking fee). All materials are supplied free.
