The Bathurst distiller’s Dry Gin will be included in two cocktails – the Negroni and a Dry Martini – that were launched this week by Aussie Tipple.
Stone Pine’s distiller Ian Glen said he was “lucky enough to be invited on board”.
“The concept is that Aussie Tipple would create the first range of pre-mixed cocktails in Australia using Australian spirits,” he said.
“We find a lot of our customers will ask how do they drink our spirits.”
Mr Glen said pre-mixed cocktails are hugely popular in the United States and he expects Australia’s bars, restaurants and consumers to follow the trend.
“The idea is that this opens us up in a user-friendly way to smaller bars and restaurants,” he said.
It’s a win-win for us, it’s a really well thought out brand and it’s got huge potential.

Mr Glen said the launch was on Monday and he expects it will take some time for the product to be available in Bathurst.
Aussie Tipple’s idea was crowd funded, with contributions of $10,000 allowing for start-up operations.
Two other pre-mixed cocktails were released this week including a Rum Old Fashioned using spirits from Black Gate Distillery in Mendooran, near Dubbo, and also a White Rye Espresso Martini.
Aussie Tipple’s range:
- White Rye Espresso Martini – Features White Devil Rye and Black Rye Coffee Liqueur from Belgrove Distillery (Tasmania).
- Dry Martini – Gin rich in Australian botanicals including pink finger lime and lemon myrtle from the award-winning Stone Pine Distillery Dry Gin (Bathurst).
- Negroni – Stone Pine Distillery’s Dry Gin paired with Regal Rogue’s Bold Red Vermouth, which showcases Barossa Valley Shiraz, Hunter Valley Semillion blended with botanicals including wattle seed and native thyme.
- Rum Old Fashioned – Highlights the work of Australia’s first female rum distiller Genise Hollingworth, whose Black Gate Distillery (Mendooran, NSW) rum is aged for two years in ex-sherry casks at the distillery.
