Cancer Council community relations co-ordinator Katherine Hodges said they would love to hear from people who can help out either before or after the event at All Saints’ College on Saturday and Sunday, March 11 and 12.
She said she would love to hear from community groups, like Scouts or school groups who could help put up tents and do other jobs associated with the relay.
She said planning for the event was going well, and the relay was on track to reach its $90,000 fundraising goal.
Ms Hodges also invited interested members of the community to attend a team information session to be held in Bathurst on Monday, January 23 at the RSL Club.
The session will get underway at 5.30pm and will go for about one hour.
“It’s a great opportunity to discuss what’s happening and have any questions answered,” she said.
