As well as shows which are presented in our BMEC Annual Season, and programs supported by BMEC we also have touring work coming through the venue.
On February 23 we will have Cowboys & Angels – Direct from Las Vegas. This tribute show is the epitome of modern country sound with Dean Simmons as Garth Guy [endorsed by Garth Brooks himself], Kim Simmons as Shades of Shania and Adam D Tucker recreating the music of country music icon Tim McCraw.
On Sunday, February 26 at 2pm we will have the internationally renowned The Australian Tenors – The Power of Love Tour 2017. All soloists in their own right – this is a dynamic display of true Australia talent that brings romance, excitement as well as humour to their performances.
The Searchers emerged in the 1960s, as one of Britain’s best loved groups. The Searchers will be in Bathurst on Wednesday, March 1 – playing their Solid Gold Hits – Sweets For My Sweet, Sugar And Spice, Needles And Pins, the list is extensive – it will be a great night of hits!
In March the music continues with Oh What A Night! A Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons on Sunday, March 12.
A different style of music comes to BMEC on April 4 with The World of Musicals, bringing the very best of musical theatre to life.
This incredible production brings the big company numbers from, Les Miserable, Lion King, Sister Act, We Weill Rock You, Dirty Dancing, Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, Cabaret, Wicked, Cats and many more.
An Afternoon at the Proms on Sunday, April 23 will see Australia’s most acclaimed international violinist Ian Cooper joined by opera stars, prima ballerinas, Australia’s current champion Pipe Band and the Blue Danube Orchestra.
This stunning spectacular brings history’s most beloved music to life with masterpieces of the Viennese court and the works of Johann Strauss II.
Enjoy selections from Bizet’s Carmen, The Sound of Music, The Merry Widow and Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, along with haunting renditions of Irish favourites, a salute to the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and the romance of the Hungarian Gypsy Orchestras. This musical and visual spectacular is set to raise the roof!
