Ms Baxter said the eight-day trip, which included meetings with Centurion University of Technology and Management staff and students, as well as politicians and Indigenous communities, was “extremely beneficial”.
“We enjoyed immersing ourselves in the Indian culture,” Mrs Baxter said.
“These trips have laid the platform for more life-changing opportunities for our students and staff in the future, while also helping us learn important ways to improve Indigenous learning outcomes.”
Mrs Baxter was joined on the eight-day trip by colleagues Matt White, Tracy Goodwin, Connie Ah See and Rod Towney.
The trip was supported by an Australia-India Council grant.
