The February Monthly Medal was held under balmy conditions and it was Mitch Colling who emerged as the premier A grade golfer on a count-back over the ‘veteran’ lefty Tony Pryce after both players had 65 nett, Colling also picked up the prestigious ‘cock of the course’ for Feb.

Dave Clyburn had a handy 67 to round out third and the scratch went to the inform Phil Campbell with one under par.
Trevor Reece was back to his brilliant best thanks to 65 nett on the way to capturing B grade from John Payne (67) and Cameron Richards (68), 82 off the stick was the best scratch score by Jason Walsh.
Craig White showed the C grade contingent how it is done courtesy of a fine 67 nett.
His nearest rivals were Rob Shannon on (67) and Jarrod Gafa on (68), while Ian Hart was anointed the scratch champion on 91.
Hole in One
Congratulations to Mick Locke who hit the dream shot for a Hole In One on the eighth!
Bob Cooper was once again the hottest A grade golfer in last Thursday’s Stableford event courtesy of a flaming 42 points.
The steady Brian Hope scored (40) and young gun Scott Matheson (39) both gained a place on the podium.
Two over was enough for Darrell Bourke to win the scratch.
Richard Ellis certainly was at his cutting best to fire 45 points and win B grade from Garth Robinson on 43 points.
Forty two points enabled James Johnston to finish third and the scratch went to Tony Noonan with 24 points.
Hope combined wonderfully with Steve Thompson to generate 49 points in the 2BBB for a solitary shot margin over Glyn Daunt and Dean Oxley.
Matheson and Shannon Ryan (37) walked away with the scratch.
The stellar golfing conditions continued on Sunday and it was Chris Watson who came away with the spoils thanks to 42 points.
A battle royal was fought out for the minors consisting of Catherine Fitzsimmons and Wayne Patterson who both had 41points.
