Neel Kolhatkar, who was selected for Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone in 2013, has over one million followers online, can be heard on Triple J and seen on ABC and tours Australia and the world. And he is only 22.
Comedian and comedy producer Daniel Muggleton is the man behind the show in Bathurst, which is part of a tour of areas outside Sydney.
“In Sydney and Melbourne you can see the best acts in the country if you know where to go, so why not bring that to regional centres around NSW?” he said.
Also on the bill will be Aaron Chen, winner of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Director’s Choice in 2016, Jen Carnovale and Rohan Ganju.
The comedy show will be performed at The Elephant and Castle Hotel from 8pm on Wednesday ($5 entry).
There will also be a free show at Rafter’s Bar, CSU Bathurst on Tuesday at 8pm for commencing students only.
