Never Talk Politics is a program produced in the studios of 2MCE in Bathurst, and broadcast Australia wide on the Community Radio Network, which makes it available to all 150 member stations of the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia.
Presented by two alternating teams of Kristina Rosengren and Karina Robson, and Sonia Feng and Tahlia Kraeftt, Never Talk Politics covers a range of topics from refugees (which included an interview with Australian Human Rights Commission president Gillian Triggs), to sexism in sport, climate change (very topical given the recent record high temperatures), adoption in Australia, young people in politics, to and euthanasia, just to name a few.
The presenters are all third year students in the Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst and their active involvement in the program augers well for the future of investigative journalism in Australia.
This afternoon, Never Talk Politics will take an in depth look at the current controversial debt recovery program being implemented by Centrelink.

Remembering a talented Guy
THIS Sunday on Here It Comes Again on 2MCE from 8pm, Jeff Cox celebrates the 90th anniversary of the birth of legendary performer Guy Mitchell.
Born Albert George Cernik in February 1927, he was discovered by Mitch Miller, then the talent manager for Columbia Records, in 1950. It was at Mitch Miller’s suggestion that he took the stage name Guy Mitchell.
Jeff Cox’s special will feature not only the music of Guy Mitchell, but Mitch Miller as well, in addition to many of their contemporaries from the 1950s.
And here’s one for your diary if you’re a fan of music from the late 1930s through until the 1950s: On Sunday, March 19, starting at 8pm, Jeff will be highlighting the career of Vera Lynn to coincide with her 100th birthday the following day.
