ORC went out to bat first and were subsequently bowled out for a disappointing score of 113 at the Bathurst Sportsground.
Bulls went and claimed the first innings winn, posting a score of 3-221 at the end of the first day.
Curtale was heavily involved with both bat and ball.
The pace bowler took 4-26 off 10 overs with the ball and finished with 91 runs off the bat.
The result was a good one, considering the absent of several Bulls bowlers.
“Kyle Aubin, Aaron Seymour and Jem Nash were all out,” Bulls’ Andrew Brown said.
“The bowlers set us up nicely. We want to cash in on the result in the second day.
“It’ll depend on the wicket next week. We’ll back ourselves in our position [to get an outright win].”
Jeremy Judge was a highlight for ORC on a frustrating day for the Tigers, as he scored 65 runs.
We’ll back ourselves in our position [to get an outright win].
