I’m Away will start in the Triumph Sports Owners Association Benchmark 61 Handicap (2,100 metres), a 25th career start.
In the six-year-old bay or brown gelding’s last start in Orange, Shannon Fogg rode him to a 3.8 length victory.
Since the win in Orange, I’m Away has finished second in Geurie and Bathurst.
The gelding has collected a handy $48,830 from 25 career starts.
McCabe’s other entry on the day, Supreme Laird, will feature in the Broadley and Haydon Chartered Accountants Benchmark 55 Handicap (1,280 metres).
The former Bathurst Soldier Saddle runner has not featured in a race since Parkes, June 2016, when Jamie Gibbons was on the saddle.
The nine-year-old bay gelding has won six races from a 52 race career, having collected $65,200 in prizemoney.
