The scratch went to visitor John Osborne with 32 points. Matt Lester hung up his boxing gloves for the day to fire 38 points.
The B grade win from John Lillie and Cameron Jackson who both had 37 points, a nice 25 points picked up the scratch for Russ McCarthy.
New member John Bradshaw has wasted no time in checking out the view from the winner’s enclosure as his 42 points captured C grade by two shots over Steve Arrow. Paul Morrison rounded out third on 38 points and the scratch is in the hands of Tim Leahy with 19 points.
David Travis made a welcome return to the top of Thursday’s A grade summit thanks to a well compiled +4 in the par event, Ross McDonald (+3) and Scott Matheson (+2) rounded out the minor placings while the scratch went to Andy Campbell with two over par.
Greg Campbell was seeing the ball very nicely as attested by his B grade winning score of +5, Tony Wells (+4) and Laurie Price (+3) picked up prize vouchers on the day. -10 saw Andrew Poulos win the scratch.
David Travis had the weight of the world on his shoulders as he single handedly carted George Smith over the finishing line to win the 2BBB with +9 on a count-back over Dave Sams and Kevin Volk.
Gun youngster Scott Matheson combined well with ‘ol’ timer Bill Casey to fire three under par to win the scratch.
Mark Gunning enjoyed his Sunday stroll to return 41 points and the win over Mick Fitzgerald (38) and Terry Staines (37).
