The Bulls outright win against ORC sees the Josh Toole led side leapfrog the Tigers into a finals position.
After adding four more runs to their first day total, Bulls declared for 8-227 after the Tigers had posted a score of just 113 runs.
The Tigers were sent back out again to bat and failed to reach the Bulls total.
Toole was pleased with his team’s performance.
“Our semis had already started, so to get the outright win is great,” he said.
“We went in fighting for fourth place and Mick [Curtale] and [Andrew] Browny got us into a good position.
“[Jamie] Wicks took 4-20 odd and Jem Nash took three wickets.
“We played everything well on the day and we need to make sure we play decent cricket, when the finals come around.”
The Bulls will finish the season against St Pat’s Old Boys, at Morse Park 1 and the Tigers will look to keep their season alive when they play Rugby Union, at Brooke Moore Oval.
Our semis had already started, so to get the outright win is great.
- Centennial Bulls captain Josh Toole
Both games will be played on March 18 and 19.
