Ray Curtis (67) and Paul Stirling (68) were the minor placegetters and the scratch went to Matt Pender with 88 off the stick.
Young Ben Mackey was back to his brilliant best after a blistering 65 nett saw him walk away with A grade by one shot over Ron Bender, Ben Hamer rounded out third with 68 nett while the scratch recipient was Phil Campbell with a lovely round of even par.
Visitor Steve Allen picked up his second victory in as many weeks as his 65 nett was good enough to win B grade from Beau Fitzpatrick (67) and Stephen Darlington (69), Nigel Fletcher signed for the scratch on 84.
A battle royal at the top of Thursday’s A grade leader board was the order of the day as David Lilly and Paul Francis both tied with 45 points, Lilly received the judges wink on a count-back.
Mark Hale made a worthy trip from Mudgee to wrap up the scratch with a brilliant round of three under par.
The great scores kept on coming as Phil Pittaway returned an extraordinary 47 points to put pay to B grade in a commanding fashion over Garth Robinson (44) and Ian ‘oracle’ Farmer (42), Reg Rivett (25) was the scratch victor.
Pittaway completed the daily double after pairing with Brian Stacey to fire 51 points and a slender one shot margin over Hale and Francis.
The combination of Lilly and Darrell Bourke finished with the scratch on 40 points.
Congratulations to Steve Lown who hit the perfect shot on 13 to record a Hole In One.
Jim Grant and Kevin Burke were alone at the top of Sunday’s leader board after both had 39 points.
Grant eventually being declared the winner on a count-back, Robert McLean was able to sneak in for third thanks to 38 points.
