If the St Pat’s prop can do that, he believes it will lay the foundation for victory in their under 18s Country Championships semi-final at Carrington Park.
The under 18 Rams topped their pool with wins in each of their three games, and while the Tigers will present a sterner test, Cheshire is embracing it.
“The challenge is a quite large one, but it also makes you a better player – if you can handle this then you can handle anything,” he said.
“I haven’t had a good look at the Tigers, but I think if we go out and try to dominate their forwards and let the backs do their thing like we do each week, I’m sure the boys will get the goods.”
Carrington Park will host both under 16 and under 18s semi-finals on Saturday. Action begins at 10am, with Cheshire in action from 2.10pm.
