He was taking part in the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship when the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.
“There was an incident today during a competition stage involving Grant Denyer and Dale Moscatt on stage 12 of the Lake Mountain Sprint, Round 2 of the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship,” the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship announced on its Facebook page.
“Both occupants were removed safely from the vehicle by Race Solutions Motorsport medical and safety team and transported by Race Solutions to a purpose setup medical centre for assessment.
“They have been transported to Melbourne with minor injuries following a detailed description of assessment to Ambulance Victoria.
“Families have been notified and every one at the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship wishes both Grant and Dale a speedy recovery.”
