A trivia night will be held at The Kelso Hotel on March 31 to help raise money for Liam Robson.
Three-year-old Liam was diagnosed with the disorder when his mother, Ange Wilkinson, was 27 weeks pregnant.
The condition affects his co-ordination, making everyday tasks like walking, talking and eating very challenging.
Liam’s condition is quite costly for his family as he requires a lot of medical attention and equipment to improve his quality of life.
Ms Wilkinson’s partner’s aunt and grandmother came up with the idea for a trivia night.
It costs just $5 per person to participate and there will be great prizes available for those with the best general knowledge.
The entry fee can be paid at the door on the night of the event.
A raffle will also be held, with prizes including, but not limited to, a one-night accommodation package at Rydges in Sydney, a $100 gift voucher to WJ Coote and a selection of quality appliances.
“I’d be happy if we raised $1000, but anything helps,” Ms Wilkinson said.
“[The money raised] will be going towards medical expenses and equipment.”
The trivia night will get underway at 6.30pm.
