DRIVERS have been warned to be on the lookout for road closures across the Bathurst region this weekend as thousands of cyclists descend on the city for the B2B Cycling Festival.

A number of rural roads on the outskirts of Bathurst will again face rolling closures during the running of the Blayney 2 Bathurst classic on Sunday but the weekend’s road closures will also impact CBD motorists.
B2B organisers have this year introduced a criterium twilight event around Kings Parade on Saturday.
The roads surrounding Kings Parade will be closed to traffic from noon until 11pm for the safety of cyclists.
Impacted roads include Russell and Church streets between William and George streets, William and George streets between Russell and Church streets.
Then on Sunday, rolling road closures will start from 6am and continue through until 2.30pm, including:
- Blayney CBD: Adelaide Street between Water Street and Hobbys Yards Road, 6am-noon.
- Blayney CBD: Martin Street, 6am-noon.
- Blayney CBD: Henry Street between Burns and Charles streets, 6am-noon.
- Blayney CBD: Charles Street between Adelaide and Henry streets, 6am-noon.
- Blayney to Hobbys Yards: Hobbys Yards Road, 8.10am- 12.30pm.
- Hobbys Yards to Trunkey Creek: Hobbys Yards Road, 8.45am-12.45pm.
- Hobbys Yards to Newbridge: Three Brothers Road, 10.15am-12.30pm.
- Newbridge to Georges Plains: Wimbledon Road, 10.15am-1.20pm.
- Trunkey Creek to Georges Plains: Trunkey Road, 8.45am-1.20pm.
- Georges Plains to Rockley Mount: Cow Flat Road, 10.10am-1.30pm.
- Rockley Mount to Perthville: Rockley Road, 10.10am-1.30pm.
- Perthville to Georges Plains: Vale Road, 10.10am-1.40pm.
- Bathurst (Lloyds Road) to Perthville: Vale Road, 10am- 2pm.
- Bathurst: Lloyds Road from Vale Road to Havannah Street, 10am-2.30pm.
