Scheduled to take place this weekend, tournament organiser Dave Fuller has had to postpone the annual event basically because there’s not enough accommodation for the 100-odd competitors looking to take part.
The masters tournament has clashed with the Blayney 2 Bathurst bike ride this weekend, which has booked out the city’s accommodation.
Fuller says he will know finalised numbers for the tournament on Monday, which should take place next weekend, starting April 8.
The delay will mean last year’s champion and former national champion Craig Brann will have to wait another week to defend his 2016 division one crown.
Bran took out Bathurst local Simon Hine – the only player to take points off the champion – in the decider, winning 9-1, 9-1, 9-3.
