Held on the Central Coast, the games will be played from April 7 to 9.
WRAS sport program manager Eoin Scullion said the academy will send 93 athletes to the games.
“The athletes will be competing in basketball, netball, golf, ten pin bowling and hockey,” he said.
“They’ll be competing against 11 other academies and we expect to go well in basketball and hockey.”
The big representation for Bathurst athletes in the academy shows the strength of the sporting associations in the city, according to Scullion.
“It also shows the strength of the coaching staff in Bathurst,” he said.
“The athletes really support us and [this weekend is] a showcasing event.”
Bathurst will be represented in basketball Shane David-Weelathgamuwa, Bridget Ellis and Ben Neary.
Amy Belfanti, Teagan Germech, Zoe Lewis, Sara Reynolds, Alexandra and Elissa Ridley and Olivia Johnston will compete in netball.
Golf players Ben Davis, Cameron Jackson, Ben Mackey, Ben McCrossin and Casey Thompson will attend, with hockey players Anna Cartwright, Tirah Jarvis, Tyler Willmott and Kirsten Fitzpatrick.
Hockey coaches Shane Conroy and Ian McAlister and netball coach Melissa Noonan will attend the games.
