BRW Rich Lister Christian Beck, the tech entrepreneur who founded LEAP Legal and InfoTrack, may well have first spotted his new forever home from the backyard of his Riverview premises.

The Andrews family had only listed the 1400-square-metre property for about a week with a $7 million guide before Beck beat off some stiff competition to purchase the property for about $8.5 million.
Beck's purchase was rumoured among locals who presumably weren't bound by the gag orders of Blunts' Mary-Anne Fitzgerald. Expect to see the Beck family's Riverview home, purchased in 2012 for $3,185,000, hit the market soon.
Longueville's high-end market has been given a fillip of late thanks to the record-setting $11.88 million sales to the same wealthy property developer from China, Ping Wei and Ye Zhou.
???The bullish result certainly took locals by surprise when first set last year, given it topped the previous suburb high by 56 per cent, and was repeated by Wei earlier this year on a waterfront residence around the corner from Beck's new digs.
Studdy lists in Longueville
Meanwhile, making good on the high-end sales activity in Longueville is Marie Christine "Kiki" Studdy, widow of the late high-profile businessman and Network Ten chairman John Studdy, who has listed her Dunois Street home for $4.3 million to $4.7 million.
Studdy bought the four-bedroom home two years ago for $3,975,000 following the sale of her $5 million Dural trophy home, Waddeton Lodge (complete with snake-deterrent fence for her pet terriers).
The north-facing residence with a swimming pool goes to auction on April 22 through McGrath's Brent Courtney.
