Full steam ahead
While steam trains are no longer in mainstream use, the Bathurst Miniature Railway may be the next best thing for the city’s people.
The railway will be chugging along on Sunday, at the John Matthews Sporting Complex.
Operating every third Sunday of the month, next to the Bathurst Tennis Centre, it’ll cost you $2 per ride.
Train rides are available, weather permitting, and passengers must wear covered footwear.
The railway will be in operation from 11am to 3pm and is located at 217 Durham Street, Bathurst.
